Project Description
The objective of the proposed project is to continuously enhance transportation engineering education in the Fundamentals of Engineering Program (FEP) for fostering workforce development through promoting, recruitment, retention and development of engineering students. Based on outcomes from years 1 and 2, this project will involve junior and senior engineering undergraduate students in the FEP enhancement through course module development, classroom tutoring and laboratory demonstration.
This effort will support the Statler College of Engineering and Mineral Resources at West Virginia University on its critical mission to prepare students for success in their professional careers and to contribute to the advancement of society through learning, discovery, extension, and service. This effort will also support the mission of CIAMTIS on education and technology transfer.
